Iniala, the visionary hotel group founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Mark Weingard, today announces its most ambitious venture to date. The group’s 2026 expansion will transform Iniala Valletta into a ‘boutique resort at a city scale,’ woven into the historic fabric of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Since opening the first wing, Harbour House in 2020, Iniala has placed Malta on the global luxury map, notably retaining its status as Malta’s only Forbes Five-Star for five consecutive years, while also becoming the first two Michelin Key hotel on the island last year. Building on this foundation, the 2026 expansion introduces the Solis wing, the Magistero wing on Republic Street, and the sculptural FrancoMaria Suite.
